Privacy Policy

The information you give us — your account details (email) and the profile you create, including any photos and optional fields you choose to fill in. We use it to run the platform: to show your profile to suitable members, to power matching and messaging, and to keep the community safe. We collect it for that purpose only.

Photos are cleaned before they are saved. Phones quietly write hidden details into a photo file — often the exact place it was taken. When your browser can read the photo, we rebuild it before it leaves your device, which removes those hidden details. What we store is the picture, not where you were standing.

If you join through an influencer's referral code or link, we record which influencer referred you so we can apply your discount and credit them. Influencers only ever see anonymous aggregate counts — never your name, email, or profile.

Other members see only what the platform's privacy rules allow. Before you connect, your full legal name and exact date of birth are hidden — others see only your display name and your age. Once you and another member both accept each other's interest(a mutual match), you each become able to see the other's legal name and date of birth, to help with family discussions and horoscope matching. Some other details are visible only to premium members or after you match. See our safety guidance for how connecting works.

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the trusted service providers that run the platform for us:

• our database, sign-in, and photo storage provider (Supabase);
• our hosting provider (Vercel);
• our email provider, which sends account emails like confirmations and password resets (Resend);
• our error-monitoring provider, which receives technical error reports — with personal details removed — so we can fix problems (Sentry);
• Amazon Web Services (AWS), which we use for face-matching when you verify your photo or government ID; and
• Google AI, which we use for two things. First, to read your name and date of birth from your government ID document when you submit it for verification — no other information is extracted, and the image is deleted after the verification decision is made. Second, every photo you upload to your profile is checked automatically for unsafe content before other members can see it, and that same check tells us roughly where a face is in the picture. We keep only a circle — a position and a size — so your face stays in view when a photo is shown in a small or differently shaped box. We do not store face measurements, and we do not use this to identify you.

Some providers may process data outside India. We require each to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us.

You can see and update your information at any time from your profile and account settings, and you can delete your account whenever you wish. If you have a question or concern about your data — including access, correction, or a complaint — contact us at admin@vrajvivah.com.

Deleting your account removes your profile from the site immediately. We keep limited records afterwards — for up to 5 years — for safety investigations, fraud and abuse prevention, and to meet legal obligations. Retained records are never shown to other members and are not used to train any AI models. You can register again later with the same email and start a fresh profile.

Photos are stored privately, and access rules are enforced in our database, not just the interface, so they can't be bypassed from the browser. We apply least-privilege access and keep all secrets server-side.
